📖 What is OPS?

OPS (On-Base Plus Slugging) is one of the most comprehensive offensive statistics. It combines a player's ability to get on base (OBP) with their power-hitting ability (SLG).

Formula: OPS = OBP + SLG

OPS considers: singles, doubles, triples, home runs, walks, hit-by-pitch, sacrifice flies, and at-bats.
